How to create the perfect cup of CBD-infused coffee.

How exactly do you create the perfect cup of CBD-infused coffee? We believe that the most important factor is the type of CBD you chose to incorporate into your freshly-brewed pot. Here’s how to make the perfect cup of coffee using UnCanny: 

Step 1:

When getting started, we like to use a coffee dripper for a more authentic coffee brewing experience. Bring the water to a boil in a stove-top kettle. While the water is heating up, prepare the coffee beans of your choice by using either an electric or manual coffee grinder. 

Step 2:

This is the most important part of your brewing experience - adding in our Barista Blend CBD powder. Our product is perfect for both hot and cold beverages because it is completely water-soluble. Water-soluble CBD powder has higher bioavailability, which means that when ingesting our product, you are absorbing the full serving of CBD that you added into whatever food or beverage you are consuming. Oil-based CBD products are less bioavailable, so when you consume those, you are only absorbing less than half of that serving.

In general, we recommend putting CBD into your morning coffee as this combination gives you the alertness of coffee but without the jitters. This may sound surprising, but CBD is actually a stimulating compound when incorporated in low doses. Begin with adding in one scoop for every mug of coffee, but of course, feel free to add more if you desire.

Step 3:

Once you’ve added in the desired amount of our water-soluble CBD powder into a carafe, put your coffee grounds into a filter on top of the coffee dripper (we recommend compostable or reusable filters), pour the hot water, and let it brew.
